Image Registration   Video 6 min

1. Image_Registration is in the "CODD_Functions" menu.

2. Load an image and use Image_Rotation and a hair cursor to make it orthogonal.

2. Run Image_Registration and use the A cursor to identify 3 points on the image with known coordinates. Enter the location of each point in turn and click "Continue" in the open panel.

3. After the third point is chosen the scale of the image will change to reflect the coordinate system described by the 3  points.

Notes:

This function works well to plot new data on graphs from old papers. It will also work well with local maps where latitude and longitude are close to orthogonal.
